The human imagination is simply incapable of fathoming the immeasurable resplendent glory of God that will be perpetually manifest in our eternal home. Can there be anything more utterly sublime and satisfying for the Christian than to enjoy the sheer delight of unbroken fellowship with God and have immediate and completely unobstructed access to divine glory???

This is a wonderful book taking Scriptures from the Bible and explaining heaven to us. There are a lot of Scriptures throughout the Bible referring to heaven and what it would probably be like to live there and some suggestions of what we will be doing there. There is one part that I am uncomfortable with was the suggestion that out pets could possibly go with us to heaven. He was not dogmatic about it. I personally think that pets would not be going to heaven with us. I already experience too many cats and dogs in my neighborhood now, and I prefer not to be in heaven with them. Rhodes gives us a biblical tour of heaven and eternity. I believe a person who is in his later years of life would benefit from this book. People going through difficult times in fear of death would also benefit from this book. At the end of the book, Rhodes gives the plan of salvation to those who are not saved in realization that an unsaved person with an open mind may desire to know more about getting saved.
