I've been writing all my life but took the plunge into professional writing in 2022. As an avid romance reader, I'm all about the spice, but it has to come with a solid plot. On average, I devour about one hundred books a year. My writing style is what I like to call 'mood writing.' I'm all about crafting super spicy romances that span across various subgenres—mafia, dark, small-town, and even paranormal. I believe in creating stories that keep you on the edge of your seat, with just the right amount of romance and a solid plot. When I'm in my writing zone, you'll find me in my cozy office/sunroom, surrounded by plants and snuggled up with my six furry friends. Yes, I'm a proud dog mom to six adorable pups! And who says six dogs are too many? Depending on my mood, you might catch me listening to Fleetwood Mac, classic R&B, '80s rock, or even New Kids on the Block. (Shoutout to my fellow lifelong blockheads!) Born in New York and having moved to Vermont as a child, I now call the beautiful green mountains home. I'll be hitting the big 5-0 this April, but I like to think of 50 as the new 35. I still feel like I'm in my thirties and excited to share this milestone with my wonderful readers. When I'm not lost in a book or working on my latest manuscript, you'll probably find me tending to my flower gardens or crafting wedding flowers. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one day because of it. I love the characters in the book and the MFC is super relatable. I did find that the ending was a little rushed but it was a beautiful end still.
A great short book about high school sweethearts. The Author did a really good job for me to resonate with the characters. Hearing Hucklee’s and Sydney’s story was easy to fall in love with. ❤️❤️
This book is amazing!!! The characters are lovely, the chemistry is immaculate, and there is no unnecessary drama. Echoes of Yesterday is a book to love, finished it in a day! Can’t wait to get a real copy of it in my hands!!! 🤭💕
I loved this story. You can't help but be drawn in by these characters. Hucklee's stupid mistake costs him dearly. He loses the woman he loves and she tries desperately to make her dreams come true. But when given half a chance she returns. Unsure why but determined to seek out the answer she has hucklee drop on her doorstep.
This was a sweet story of second chances. Sydney had dreams that went far beyond her small town life. As a gifter singer and songwriter she knew there was more for her outside of her Tennessee town.
On the outside Sydney looked like a woman who had it all: dream job, loving fiancé and life in a big city but deep down she felt empty.
Sometimes we need to go back to our "Roots", or "Home" to gain some perspective. Sydney knew that her perfect life wasn't as perfect as it appeared to be leading her to travel back home to face her demons of the past.
Hucklee (I can't get past that name). Hucklee was a country boy through and through. Working on his family's ranch and doing what was necessary to provide and do his part. Unfortunately, Hucklee and his brothers oftentimes got themselves in trouble and as a result Hucklee spent 7 years in prison taking the rap for his brothers.
Hucklee and Sydney's story was one of the true testament of real love. Sydney never forgot about her first love who broke her heart and Hucklee never forgot about the only woman he ever loved.
Decisions will need to be made and Sydney finds herself at a crossroad. Continue to pursue her dreams living the good life or return to the only place that not only feels like home but also the place where a piece of her heart has always been.
Hucklee and Sydney are high school sweethearts that are dealt a bad hand in life. Circumstances tear them apart. When they see each other again their chemistry is undeniable. The author does a great job making readers feel their connection. Their love for each other is evident from the beginning. There are some hurdles to overcome but it’s done rather easily
This is a short read which can easily be done in a day if time allows. The author keeps things interesting to ensure you are invested in the characters.
I almost gave up on this book reading the prologue but I'm glad I stuck it out. It's a super cute story of first loves reunited once you get into the actual story. I love that the FMC doesn't just give in right away even if the main male is the boy of many high school girls dreams. He will easily win you over. It's nice that it's a realistic short story that many will relate too. I do think the ending was rushed, I would have loved to have more before it ended.
Overall it's a great short story.

This author is new to me, and this book...totally addictive.
Sydney & Hucklee's teenage story is just beginning when it comes to an abrupt end. Time moves on, lives move on, but luckily the people of Silver Springs rarely move on. Sydney & Hucklee are back in the same place, but will second-time round be just like the first? or do they get their HEAs together?
Sydney is brought back to Silver Springs after her aunt passes. She has to face her past and his name is Hucklee McCallister. She had her heart broken by him 7 years ago and hasn’t gotten over what he did to her. Hucklee was young and made some mistakes to help his family and spent 7 years in jail. Sydney has set out and become a famous singer/songwriter and is engaged to Darren but she has realized that things are not what she is hoping for with him. Sydney and Hucklee have to work past their past to see what the truth is and what their future may hold.
I just love second chance romances, and this is one of the best that I’ve read this year. Sydney and Huckle are soulmates who have found their way back to each other. This is truly an exceptional story of love and second chances.
My first ARC and couldn’t have loved it more! This book is the perfect small town second chance romance vibe and I absolutely adored it! I will definitely be checking out her next book!

Great cowboy romance! I loved the character development & how the story progressed. It definitely left me wanting more. I want to read the next book in the series and see where their love story goes. The spice was just the right amount. Fun & exciting but it didn't cross the line into too much. The characters were relatable and I could feel the emotions.
This book kind of reminded me of The Notebook - hometown first love, current fiance she is unhappy with, reuniting with first love and all the feelings come back. It was hard for me to get into at first but I’m glad I stuck with it and finished it.
I could not put this book down. Sydney and Hucklees story was raw and heartbreaking. Both their characters are so relatable they really pull you in. Even after all those years their love for one another never faded no matter how bad she wanted it to. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read the next in the series.
i’m so freaking sad I WANT MORE. this second chance romance was short and i needed it longer. i loved their story. the hardships they both endured and the misconceptions that syd had. and the ending was so perfect. i definitely will be counting down to the release of book 2. the spice was 🤌🏼 although it wasn’t heavily spicy it definitely set up book to to have all the filthy yummy goodness and girl let me just say I AM READY 🥵
I'll be brutally honest, I went into reading this book fully expecting to hate it as much as a Hallmark Movie. The only reason I stumbled across it was because it was free on the Stuff You E-Reader day. But my goodness am I glad I did! The FMC is one who you see blossom from a nerdy little flower into a sassy woman. Which keeps the MMC on his toes! Although the book is 280 pages long it has a sound fluidity to it, not feeling rushed or sporadic at all. Looking forward to reading the next Silver Springs installment 🖤.
Wow…Wow…Wow. From the first sentence to the last I was hooked. This book struck a deep chord with me. This was my first time reading a book by L.M Marreti and I love their writing style. Sydney and Hucklee are absolutely goals in life. It’s not been an easy road but the destination to each other was always worth it. And let me just say the direction they go in their teens and Huck ends up in jail absolutely threw me for a loop!! More than once I found myself with tears on my face for Syd. She’s someone that you can really relate to. Everyone needs to read this book! I can’t wait for the next one!!

This was such a cute and heartwarming read. Sydney and Hucklee bring you in front the beginning and tug on your heartstrings till the very end. I loved that this was such an easy read with a great second chance storyline.
I loved this short read of L.M. Maretti's. It was my very first read and I couldn't put it down. My only sadness was it was too short, but let that discourage you from reading it. It is an amazing read it is full of laughter, sadness, and a whole lot of happiness.
I don't wanna give away too much of the story because it is a shorter read. Let's just say that it will put a smile on your face and make your heart flutter with what happens with Hucklee and Syd. You will never guess.
L.M. is an outstanding writer. I can't wait to read more.
This book was pulling on my heartstrings the whole way through. I love the dual POVs between both Hucklee and Sydney. Seeing the misunderstood love between them so many years later made me feel so much hope for their ending. This story was pretty short, and I feel it had potential for maybe another hundred pages or so, but even without, I don’t feel like I’m missing any part of the story. I would highly recommend this book and I can definitely see myself rereading this book to live through it again!
Beautiful short read. It was filled with page turning content that had you zooming through this book. Great story that you fall in love with the characters. Overall great book!
This was a new for me author who wrote a beautiful second chance love.
Sydney leaves Silver Springs after having her heart broken only to return years later to find some peace inside herself. Hucklee never stopped loving her.
I really enjoyed the book. I read this in an evening. I was kinda surprised that once I started I lost track of time. The would have liked a little more for the last chapter as well as the epilogue.
This is a short but meaningful book. Sydney Bennett is back in Silver Springs. She is a songwriter. Going back to her hometown brings up memories that are hard to relive. She was in town to fix up her aunt’s house so that it could be sold. She also needs some time away from her fiancée and his overbearing mother. Hucklee McCallister was Sydney’s first love. He did the only thing he thought he could. He walked away from the girl that was too good for him.
Seven years later, they are both seeing each other again. Hucklee never stopped loving Sydney but knew she was now engaged. That did not keep him away though. Will Sydney be able to stay away from the boy she loved?
I really enjoyed this short romance. Readers will fall in love with this town. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Sydney grew up with her aunt due to losing her parents. She spent as much time as possible with her best friend Daisy and her brothers. She began to have feelings for Hucklee when they were in high school. As she’s graduating and getting ready to begin the next chapter of her life, the whole world turns upside down. Now, years later, she’s returned home to get her aunt’s house ready for sale. She’s trying to figure out things before she gets married. Once again everything changes as her past comes pushing to the front again.
Sydney and Hucklees journey is a sweet second chance love story. High school sweetheart hearts. After her heartbreak Sydney is living the life she thinks she wants. When she goes back to her home town, things get complicated. Huckless did time in jail for his family. Now that he’s out he’s missing something or should we say someone. When they cross path again things just click. The passion, the love they had for each other. Fast pace but super cute and whole. Something to read to believe in faith.
Oh my GOSH, this book had me so angry at times. I wanted them back together so bad. Towards the end I was watching the percentage completed in anticipation hoping they’re together in the end. I loved the characters, and their banter was so relatable. Definitely a good read. The epilogue was definitely my favorite part of the book I might have shed a tear or two.
This book was everything!! Had me giggling, kicking my feet everything!! Read it in one day so good couldn’t put it down! The characters are so loveable and charming, such a great read!
