I was initially suspicious because the bibliography/list of sources was pretty poor at the back of this book, not even up to par with a decent undergraduate essay. However, I did end up enjoying it. It's a slim volume, but serves as a decent introduction to the various theological clashes and schisms that led to the development of orthodox Christianity.
