I am just getting started with watercolor, and I really like this book. I think then best way to learn is by doing, and this book presents 45 small projects to experiment with.
There is a little information at the front, about brushes and brushstrokes and mixing colors. Then it’s right into trying small projects, which are broken down into steps to help you work through them.
I find this book very accessible, and a good resource for encouraging me to fit a little painting practice into my week.
The projects in this book are adorable and very much my style. That being said, I feel like I’ve seen many similar projects across other watercolor books.
I love the style of the projects, and feel like the instruction was helpful. I feel like I have absolutely improved my skills by using this book, so thank you!
