Monster. Liar. Thief. Killer. I’ve been called it all and so much worse. And they’re not wrong.
I’ve been running my whole life. Hiding from the monsters who haunt my dreams and who will tear me apart again and again if they ever find me. I live off whatever I can steal, trapped inside a fae prison city filled with pollution, sin and poverty. Humans have captured the Fae.
We belong to them now.
My scars make me a bad omen to my people, who shun and torment me at every turn.
Cyrus, the egotistical and frustratingly gorgeous leader of the fae under-city, can’t seem to decide whether he wants to kill me or claim me for his own dark and delicious desires.
And Reid, a dangerous and hypnotically beautiful human Authority Agent whose sole purpose should be to keep me in the dirt, has decided to keep me as his own personal Pet instead.
But when dark, demonic creatures start attacking, killing human and Fae alike, alliances must be made, especially when the monsters seem to be determined to find and slaughter me.
A dormant war is awakening, and the part I must play in it is only just becoming clear.
Do I stand and fight? Or do I strike the match and watch them all burn?
Book
The Bond has been made, Reid and Cyrus will never let me go.
But who is trapped with who?
They will protect me from my father. Rescue the Fae who were stolen. And indulge my deepest, darkest desires.
They have their hidden agendas. But I have mine.
As the world turns to darkness in Ivan's shadow, the Dark Fae grow in number and ferocity. The lines between magic and science are blurred, and a hidden weapon lies in wait.
Is there a way out of this? Reid believes there is. But our freedom will come at a heavy price. One a hero will have to pay.
But there are no heroes here.
Book
A twisted dance of darkness and desire...
I waged war for our freedom. Risked everything to protect those I loved. Yet love's embrace turned ravenous, consuming me whole.
Imprisoned for an agonising two years, I was a pawn in my father's twisted game. He made me a weapon to be wielded against those I held dear. Now, I'm free.
But freedom has only hurled me from one hell into another.
Ivan and the tyrant Fae King are shattering the fragile harmony between Fae and monsters. Ancient abominations are crawling back into existence, painting the world crimson with blood and despair.
All eyes are on me, the reluctant queen, to fix it all.
But I'm fighting my own monsters. My two Bonded Mates betrayed me, broke my heart and abandoned me to a fate worse than death.
How can I fix anything when they've left me so broken?
The allure of vengeance pulls me closer, threatening to consume my soul. But as secrets are revealed and the truth becomes clear, boundaries blur between virtue and vice, righteousness and sin, and hero and villain.
For freedom, I must trust those who were once my enemy and forgive the unforgivable.
It dawns on me, with chilling clarity, that I may not be the hero of this story after all.
The Stolen Fae series is a dark fantasy romance full of magic, danger, passion, and pain.
Please This is a reverse harem book and contains explicit content and darker elements, including mature language, violence, torture and non-consensual sex. It is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.
MJ Lawrie has always had a love for storytelling. Formerly a film student, she started writing her debut series, The Last Witch, shortly after the birth of her first baby. Driven mad by the boredom of nap times and avoiding housework at all costs, she decided to finally get to work on her lifelong dream of writing a book. A true lover of fantasy, dark romance and thriller fiction, she's combined the three and poured her unusual imagination into the creation of characters that you love to hate and hate to love.
I loved book one. So much so that, five chapters in, I recommended it to my bestie. I felt sorry for Raven, and I was definitely rooting for her. I had a love-hate relationship with the MMC from the very beginning—closer to hate than love, if I’m being honest—but I kept hoping they would redeem themselves. I hated Ahriella, and I kept internally screaming at Raven to put her in her place. I was so proud when she finally stood up for herself 🥹
Then came book two, and... 😒😒😒😒 Raven, girl. I wanted to smack the shit out of her, omfg. All the characters were annoying. There was so much playing the victim, gaslighting, and manipulation. And good gawd!!! The SA scenes were just too much. Like, damn. Cut them a break.
Raven’s impulsiveness and lack of accountability pissed me off. And her letting these men walk all over her? Why do you keep giving up the 🙀, babe? Like, sis tried, but I feel like the betrayal she experienced deserved them having to win her affections all over again. She needed to hate them completely—so much so that she moved on from them. But no.
I hated how Tessa was treated. I hated what happened with Lucca. It was just... a lot. I hated book two pretty much. The only reason I stuck with it was because I loved book one.
Then book three... 🥲
I had such high hopes for Lucca and Raven. I really wanted a happy ending for my boy. I agreed that Reid and Cyrus didn’t deserve her, and El and Rhea could kick rocks. But damn...
Why is Jonah so hard to kill? Raven kept being a yamhead. Pissed me off so bad, yo. Sis wants to save everyone, but she keeps putting those same people at risk for the two men who treat her like ass but keep telling her she’s their world. She kept leaping without looking, and I’m just like... so much trouble could’ve been avoided if you just stopped being so emotional, girly. Damn.
And then y’all made Lucca mad and killed him off? Fym??? Like, I wanted him to have his happy-ever-after. I was hoping he’d get with Raven, but when I saw sis was determined to stay in her little toxic situation with her men, I thought, “Maybe Tessa...”
And for an all-powerful fae/leviathan thingamajig, Raven sure kept getting her ass whooped.
Anyway, read it if you want. Don’t say I didn’t warn you 🤭

didn’t bother finishing … which was disappointing as i read the author’s latest series and really enjoyed it … and i guess i was expecting more of the same … on the plus side it’s well written and the story is interesting enough … but for me i really disliked the main character … there was just nothing about her that made her “likeable” … she just whined a lot / bitched a lot / was clearly not very intelligent or street smart / and was completely oblivious that her sister was using her / all in all she was both extremely annoying and really boring… i spent all the time hoping that someone would slap some sense and personality into her … and yet for reasons unknown two intelligent / ruthless men found her attractive 🤷🏻♀️ … also it’s never a good sign when side characters are more interesting that the main one
clearly from the other reviews there are readers that loved this series …. just not me
Book 1: 3*, Book 2: 2* (almost DNF at 45%), book 3: 4*
Book 1: 3*, Book 2: 2* (almost DNF at 45%), book 3: 4*
I really enjoyed the world building and story premise, I was looking forward to where it was going. The MMCs are truly morally grey ar$ehol3$ (check your triggers), but the FMC is really quite unlikeable. I actually thought about DNFing about 45% of book two. I actually went to the reviews to find out what/why I chose these books and saw a number of other reviews saying the same thing at the same point in the book! I also saw all of the other 5* reviews, so decided to keep going but book two was a slog! The FMC is really frustrating and unlikeable with ridiculous reactions and blames the MMCs for behaviours that she literally repeats on to her sister. I’m glad I stuck with the series, but only just….!!
This series was a lot. A quick read, with lots of action, like every chapter. I enjoyed it, but could’ve done without ALL the SA scenes, that was a lot. Overall, a good read. The world was cool, the plot was different than the typical Fae/human storyline. The twists were unpredictable. I could not have predicted the ending at all
Would I recommend? Maybe, but not even my 5th choice.
Another outstanding read, i didnt think the last witch series could be beaten but now im not so sure, the emotional rollercoaster is unreal and the ability to make you feel exactly what the characters are is incredible, such a talented writer. Has you hooked from the first page! Cant wait to read more series.
Holy f'n hell. WOW. I couldn't put the entire thing down. The entire thing was so well-written that I dare you not to cry by the end of it. Most of the comments I have would be considered spoilers, so I'm just going to leave it up to you to figure out and experience everything..
This series had me enthralled. I couldn't put it down. Fast paced, so cruel, painful but also beautiful with the love between the main characters. Highly recommend this series. Found myself another favourite author.
I read a lot of the Fae stand-alones and series; many of them are good and some excellent, but what I really enjoyed about this one was that it was completely different in its originality. It is a quick, entertaining, worthwhile read!
This book. Epic. The first was intriguing, even if the FMC was a little naive. The second was slow and frustrating in parts. The third book epic - the level of female rage was awesome and a good amount of grovel. I very much enjoyed. Thank you
I really enjoyed the story line and I was completely invested in the characters. I did find Raven irritating at times with her double standards, but given her background her actions were understandable. Cyrus and Reid, I would love to have routing for me!
Couldn't put this series down. Violent and brutal, with such passion, friendship, betrayal, and love all sewn together in an epic adventure through two worlds. Definitely check the trigger warnings if you need to. Highly recommend.
DNF, there are just too many better written stories out there. Recommend not wasting your reading time. When I read the catchy phrase... Why are more people not talking about this book?... Well because it is horrendous on way too many levels to even waste time writing a review! Just move on!
This is truly storytelling at it's best. You get sucked into a world of fantasy as the battle if good versus evil surrounds you. It's full of fantasy, brutality, violence, and lots of very kinky sex. You may need a warning label for this one.
