"PLC Ladder Logic Fundamentals" is a concise guide that introduces readers to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their programming. The book covers the definition and advantages of PLCs, basic components, Ladder Logic programming, input/output modules, data handling, advanced techniques, and PLC communication. Suitable for beginners and professionals, it provides step-by-step instructions and practical examples to master PLC programming and automation.
I can't say that I actually learned PLC programming, but this book did answer my questions about what PLC Ladder Logic was. As usual, the author managed to make this very dry subject interesting.
Note: I've taken college classes in programming hardware, and I led a team of Electrical Engineering students to build a 16 bit computer using TTL logic. I designed and built the CPU. I say this so you will realize that this is not an entirely strange subject for me. For someone else? Yeah. Probably.
I doubt I will read this book again, but I was glad I read it this time.
