"Cortez Peters Championship Formatting" introduces world championship keyboarding techniques, methods, drills, and strategies in order to develop superior keyboarding capabilities. According to the author, the three most important elements for developing excellent keyboarding skills are (1) championship keyboarding techniques, (2) accuracy development techniques and strategies, and (3) speed development techniques and strategies. Together these three elements represent a proven concept in developing excellent keyboarding skills. It is the same successful formula that has made the author an undefeated typewriting champion and a champion typewriting teacher. All of these elements have been organized into a multicomponent learning program. It is a simple, effective, and full-structured keyboarding course. The book is divided into nine (1) keyboarding competencies; (2) reviewing letter and envelope formats; and (3 through 9) production jobs. This multi-level teaching tool helps users develop and improve their keyboarding skills by allowing them to focus on their particular weaknesses. Three charts are used to track the user’s Chart 1: Keyboarding Competencies; Chart 2: Misstroke Analysis; and Chart 3: Speed and Accuracy Analysis. All three charts play a major role in helping users meet their goals.
