Honest review freely given.
This is a great series. Conner and Kennedy were classmates from an early age. Both to shy to confess their feelings. Then Kennedy moved and Conner turned into a dog until the inevitable happened and he became a father. His wife died of a drug overdose. His daughter, Sage, lost her way and went missing. After more than a decade Conner reached out to Kennedy, who was now a PI. Brought back together through a tragedy unimaginable. There feelings for each other are still as strong, if not stronger. But through every horrible thing they must go through to find Sage can they survive and move forward?

September 7, 2023When they were 15 and in the 10th grade, Kennedy and her friends Elena, Jayla, Connor and Keeky lived in Queens, New York. They are a group of five different people who have known each other since kindergarten. They used to meet at the park to hang out, drink a little and smoke a little. Elena ends up missing and Kennedy’s parents move them to New Jersey.
15 years later, Kennedy is a successful private investigator. She gets a call from Connor because his daughter Sage is missing.
Can Kennedy help Connor? Do they still have feelings for each other? Is Sage’s disappearance related to Elena’s even though they happened 15 years apart?
I loved the interaction between Kennedy and Connor. It was interesting how Kennedy brought in their old friends Jayla and Keeky to help as well as her new friends and her sister. Again, the series kept me guessing from start to finish.
