Not a bad start for a first time Author.
Bottom Line Up Front: This books was fun and I enjoyed reading it. There were some glaring issues and moments which left me shaking my head but there were also moments that made me laugh, made me smile, and even feel sad. I think the biggest issues with this book were the large complex topics being crammed together and simplified into something that lessened their impact and the timeline....everything felt rushed. It also felt comical. So many serious situations that never felt that serious because everything was a joke to the main character. Maybe this was the intent but I felt it degraded the story. A good book over all, It was an easy read. Looking forward to Book 2 which by the ending the Author is obligated to write because wtf.
