Heather Strand, blind since birth, had overcome her handicap to become both a sculptor and a rancher.

Reid Hunter, though blessed with sight, saw less clearly than Heather the path they were destined to walk together.

Haunted by his own nightmares, he almost let his chance for happiness slip by, until love sharpened his vision and he saw the blinding truth: This was the only woman for him--forever.

There’s a lot to love about this story: a hot but broken cowboy, a struggling ranch, a young vision-impaired heroine (who’s also an amazing artist), forbidden love … the reader gets a glimpse into the San Francisco art scene, ranch life and more thanks to just the right dose of the main characters’ pasts being touched upon.

As usual, Barrie manages to pack in the drama and real feels and provide a complete escape from reality. I actually finished this books weeks ago and still find myself missing it daily.

Both characters are very proud, strong-willed people. In order for them to make it work, both might need to conform to a change in values, at least partially … I won’t tell you whether this happens, only that it is absolutely worth the ride to find out.

Since I read an ARC, I won’t comment on editing/formatting, except.
Cover is professionally done (you can see the latest up on major retailers).

Strongly recommend.
