An excellent collection of traditional scripts for theatre. It includes Aristophanes 'The Birds' (would a modern audience have the subtlety to get this?... I'm not sure), Chekhov's brilliant 'The Proposal' and many that are not so well known, but equally good. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

There are some wonderful plays in this book. Because they are classics, we found that most of the plays in the book were available for free on-line. This was perfect, because it allowed us to read them together as a family.
