Don’t Ask And I Won’t Have To Lie

Rate this book
"Don't Ask and I Won't Have to Lie" explores some of the subjects women lie about, why they do it, and the role aging plays in the process.

This book is not for you if: You've never lied to your children; You've never lied to get out of a jam; You've never lied or had to stretch the truth to spare the feelings of a friend or loved one; You've never caught someone else in a lie; You've never lied to your boss or co-worker; You've never checked called ID before answering your phone; You've lived your entire life as a Miss Goody Two Shoes.

The idea of aging in a society where youth and beauty are depicted as a thing to behold can result in a lie. That might explain why women over 40 years old account for nearly half of all cosmetic surgery routines in thr United States. Some women go to great lengths to conceal what they believe are physical flaws because, as an overzealous media always reminds us, image is everything.
