Hendi Hendratman dibesarkan dari keluarga sederhana di lingkungan militer. Masa kecilnya banyak dihabiskan dengan bermain di sawah & kebun. Pendidikan yang telah ditempuh: Sekolah Dasar Kristen Pandu Bandung, SMPN 9 Bandung, SMAN 2 Bandung, gagal diterima di Fakulas Seni Rupa & Desain ITB namun diterima jurusan Teknik Arsitektur Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Prestasi di sekolah dasar dan menengah nyaris tidak ada dan tidak punya banyak teman apalagi pacar. Di sekolah tinggi ITB pun beberapa kali mendapat surat peringatan Drop Out namun akhirnya lulus dalam waktu 9 tahun dengan Indeks Prestasi (IP) terendah. Beberapa kali melayangkan surat lamaran kerja namun tak satupun yang mau. Semoga anda tidak mengikuti jejak penulis OK!
