Learn JavaScript
I have written this book to provide a fast introduction and thorough explanation of the core JavaScript a person needs to learn to create professional web applications which will run in all the browsers (Microsoft IE, Mozilla FireFox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera) on various platforms (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and various hardware (desktop / laptop, iPhone / Android phone, Android pad / iPad / iPod).
You will learn some HTML5, some CSS, AJAX, and a whole lot of pure JavaScript, which will make it easier to learn to use the various popular JavaScript libraries (jQuery / jQueryUI).
You will learn all of this while doing some hands-on coding as you build some cool scripts you can incorporate into your own JavaScript applications. Along the way, I'll add some things I've learned over the twenty years of my development career.
I have created a web forum where you can post any additional questions you have. I will attempt to answer those questions in the public forum so that others who have the same questions will be able to find the answers too.
Every 3 months or so I will incorporate those questions into the book and make it available to everyone who has purchased the book. That way you will always have the most up to date information available to you.
This book also comes with an HTML/JavaScript editor which I wrote to make it easier to create and test your JavaScript.
