A triumphant, bold, and investigative look at the bloody, tyrannical, and bone-chilling narratives concerning the treatment of the Armenians at the hands of the Turks in the 19th-century. A must-read for anyone interested in this time period in the Caucasus geographical areas. These narratives, stories and memoirs were collected sand published well before the Armenians' genocide / attempted racial extermination of 1915-17.
Overall this book was very good. It goes into great detail about ottoman politics and why they hated their Christian population. It describes the hard life of Armenians that had to live under that empire and the torture they went through at the hands of evil Kurds and Turks. 100% recommend.
