Born from the fertile imagination of bestselling author Michael Anderle…
BUT WHAT ELSE IS NEW?
Wallace is not unstoppable, and the ZOO is more than willing to demonstrate that to him personally.
Hall has information about Kemp, and he wants Wallace to bring her back alive.
Given his leftover doubts from his conversation with the German ambassador, will Wallace follow orders?
Dr. Christopher Lin has his own data about Kemp, and he is coming back without permission.
There are plans within plans for the ZOO. Can Hall accomplish his secret goals while getting rid of Wallace, who has become a problem?
Inside the ZOO, it feels like the calm before the storm. In the Sahara, one should be worried. Inside the ZOO, one should be curled into a fetal ball, whimpering in fear.

Things are very calm at the American Base at Wall Two, giving Sergeant Erick Wallace the time he needed to heal and recover from yet another disastrous trip into the ZOO.
Things are also worryingly calm with the ZOO itself, to the point where those who have gone in there, are reporting that the jungle seems to actually be dying back.
Then, one night, while Wallace patrols around the back of the Base, that faces away from the ZOO, he finds an area of the fence cut in a way, that it would go be obvious close to.
He warns the base, but nothing is found, and so he finally goes back to his tiny room to sleep - and everything changes from that point onwards!
This story was amazing, and I just couldn't stop reading it! There was so much action going on, that I had to deliberately slow down my reading pace, in order to absorb it all!
As you'd expect, all the action happens in the ZOO, itself, and there are so many new things revealed, so much going on, that I found it hard to absorb it straight away - not because of it being bad, but because there was so much detail that I didn't want to miss it!
I'll let you in on a secret here: I've never been able to read books that contain gore and violence - until I started to read Michael Anderle's books, that is!
He doesn't write this excessively , or just for its own sake, though - there is always a purpose, and a lesson, to be learned by it all, and because he, and his co-authors, write so very well, I've found myself reading things I would have had nightmares over at one time! Lol
Well there's an abundance of both in this book - but all as part of the developing plot, and both gore and violence aren't lingered over, thankfully, but make their point at each part of the story.
I can't really say any more without revealing spoilers, so I won't do that - and this series has been well worth the read!
I did actually finish reading this story, thinking that this was the final book, but I'm obviously wrong, as I discovered that there's still a Book Seven to read: One Crazy Pilot.
I'm going straight on to read this, as I'm hoping it will explain some of the aftermath to the story's ending!
So, I'm off right now, and I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about it all!
Wallace is being driven into the ground by Hall, who now has grandiose plans of bringing Kemp in alive. But at what cost? Will Chris be able to get to Kemp first?
The ending is poignant, beautiful, and emotional. The strength, bravery, courage, and love of humans are all shown in our different characters, as well as the darker side of humanity.
More action. More drama. More tension. More ZOO! And there will be a book 7!!!
This was a good book, I am glad to read some of the backstory that I had wondered about from other books late in the universe. I recommend this book and the series and anything in the zoo universe.
