Written for every sports fan who follows the Fighting Irish, this account goes behind the scenes to peek into the private world of the players, coaches, and decision makers—all while eavesdropping on their personal conversations. From the Notre Dame locker room to the sidelines and inside the huddle, the book includes comments from Ara Parseghian, Ziggie Czarobski, and Frank Leahy, among others, allowing readers to relive the highlights and the celebrations.
Yet another great book that chronicles the history of Notre Dame football. It provides many of the same stories that die-hard Notre Dame fans already know, but also includes some that will undoubtedly be new as well. I think that the major strength of this book is reading the personal stories involved with not only the past players and coaches, but other Notre Dame personnel as well (PA announcers, sports information directors, etc.). These stories are the ones that shed new light and add more luster to the most fabled and storied college football program.
