When she awoke, she was lying on a soft pile of vines somewhere deep in the forest. The light filtered dimly through the leaves. Ellen groaned and touched her head gently. There was a tender line down her face where the vine had smacked her. She had no doubt it would provide a spectacular bruise. Swallowing thickly, she stood, her eyes flickering here and there as they adjusted to the gloom. She took one hesitant step, testing the ground. It felt spongy and bouncy, but still firm enough to walk on. However, her next step was forestalled by a vine wrapping around her leg and tugging her down. "

First I am asking myself...
Where were the tentacles?? Well they did appear but only at 85% sadly!!
It was ok but nothing spectacular, but as it was short I was able to cope :)
And yes these books aren't for everyone lol! But I like them :)
