Fr. Mcnamara is an unshod Carmelite with more insight into the truth of the human condition than most of us who live far more "earthly" lives. You don't have to be Catholic or catholic or even ex-Catholic to learn a good deal about yourself from this treasure of a book. I wish there were ten stars to give it.
