Entertaining relationship listening

Some strange things are happening around the winery. There have been several break ins and poor Helena was roughed up and thrown into a closet. Now all the women are living at the inn in the bridal suite so they can watch out for each other.
It was discovered that all the wine in the basement of the beach house has been stolen so now Jason is worried they will not be able to complete the analysis to make the wine great again. Question is will they even be able to open on time? Will the investors start pulling out and leaving them with no money to complete the project? But the biggest question is who is behind all of this and why? What have they done to this person or does it have something to do with Olivia's parents?
Olivia has an idea but she is going to have to make people talk. She will have to head back to all the City Hall to look at the records again. Will she be allowed in again and if not then what?.

Once again, I found a series on Kindle Unlimited solely based on the fact that it was set in Cape May. And yikes. The writing is bad. It’s stiff and choppy and lacking any sense of flow. The dialogue is worse - so expositional. The author does that thing where they write out the main characters thought process and do it in a way that’s so weirdly expositional and unnecessary. The plot is bat-shit crazy. It’s a series of hallmark movies/ PG romance/ mystery novellas. Had to give it at least 2/5 stars because I love Cape May, I do love a cheesy romance, it had some action and plot, and they were a breeze! Regardless of my thoughts on how cringy this was, I had to keep reading the series. Finished all six of these little novellas in the span of a day. Not the highest quality story-telling but I kept going for a reason, I guess!

What a great story! Olivia is putting the pieces together about her parents and the mystery about the winery. So many secrets in Cape May and people are afraid to speak. Will Olivia finally get to the truth about her past? The winery has it’s grand opening and there is a little excitement. While Olivia defuses that, she starts to wonder if Quentin is really involved. The wonderful evening comes to a halt when Jason can’t find his son. What happened to him? Who is behind this and why?

What a captivating mystery. The suspense keeps you wanting more about Olivia and the people that are close to her.

Another surprising event, Helena was found locked in a closet and the wine cellar had been emptied. Sheriff Nancy was called to investigate however nothing was found to point to a culprit. They were still able to open Harvest Moon for the locals to enjoy. Jason also had a small party for the investors at the winery. Olivia is trying to figure out how the Armstrongs fit into the picture.

The Summer in Cape May Book Five continues the story of Olivia, Jason, Ava, Thomas, Carolyn, and Lucas as they prepare for the opening of their winery. Olivia, Jason, and Ava seeks a visit with the Armstrongs after reviewing some police cold cases and being refused information at City Hall but are met with a chilly reception at both places. The book ends in an unexpected cliffhanger.

What a surprise turn of events. So much happened in this book and there is still more mystery with the disappearance of Lucas. I am on tenterhooks to get the final instalment and read all the revelations by Ms Parker. A few shady characters could be the culprits but could it be that Ms Parker is throwing us a curveball? Only time will tell. This has been an awesome series.

All the wine had been stolen from the basement and Helena had been locked in the closet by 2 men in ski masks.
What was going on ? Who was responsible for all the destruction and theft from the Vineyard ?
Quintin had been in jail, so it couldn't be him. Where was all this coming from????

Fantastic book!

Another fantastic book in the Cape May series. As work continues to open the new winery, incidents continue to plague Olivia and her friends. I was totally hooked on the book from start to finish and my emotions followed them through their highs and lows. Another cliff hanger ending leaves me wanting and impatient to read the next book in the series.

Olivia and friends are working hard to get everything set for the opening of the winery. Bizarre occurrences have taken place and no idea who is behind it. Olivia starts to get more information about her parents and the winery. The people of the town are scared to speak the truth.. The opening of winery is a bit. Everything is good until Jason's son is missing. Who is behind this latest development?.

Things finally start to go well for the vineyard and no more crimes have been committed, but it doesn't last for long and now Lucas has been kidnapped. Will they find him before its too late.

The end is in sight for this series and we still have lots of unanswered questions - like who is responsible for all of the trouble at the winery. Olivia, Ava and Helena are staying at the winery and final preparations are being made for the grand opening events. However, nothing goes smoothly for this group, but I was still stunned by what happened...

Great continuation

Olivia and the group are finally getting things to settle down. Olivia, Ava, and Helena are staying at the winery after the breaking at Olivia's house. The Harvest Moon Winery is finally open and things seem to be going good. Then on the night of a special investor dinner, Lucas, Jason's teen age son is taken. What is going on and who is behind everything going on?

While this story has me intrigued, it’s dragging out too much. There are numerous twists and turns so you can’t help but wonder what’s really behind the mystery of Olivia’s birth and threats to friends, family & the vineyard. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of this series!.

The Summer in Cape May by Sage Parker is a good, and enjoyable small town romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building captivating story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining page turning read that does end in a cliffhanger. Book five and I still have no idea as to who is behind all of this! Olivia and her friends just cannot seem to catch a break and incidents continue to happen and they are no closer to knowing who or why this is happening. The mystery and intrigue continue as the author draws us in even more and I’m on the edge of my seat after that ending!
