As an artist, I'm a huge fan of mash-ups: Finding common objects and ideas and combining them into something new and interesting. That's how my art series, "Tails of Imagination" began.
I've always loved animals and I have a soft spot for those dogs and cats at the animal shelter that are looking for a home and someone to love them. I'm also a big kid and a bigger geek and have a fondness for vintage toys.
When I combined these elements I found a fresh and original way to tell a story on the canvas. No longer was I painting a cute dog doing things you'd expect him to do, now I could paint that same dog having crazy adventures. The idea took off and I know have over 30 paintings in the series.
My artwork is popular with animal lovers and kids and I knew that many of the characters from the series were destined to make it into books. When I began the first book, each character already had a personality and a bit of a back story. I added lyrical prose that kids would enjoy reading and "Tails of Imagination - Ordinary Pets, Extraordinary Adventures" was born.
I'm currently working on books 2 and 3 of the series with all new characters and adventures. Stay tuned.

I love this clever book!

Colorful, witty and full of genuine purpose, this children's book will be a classic alongside Dr. Seuss. A very professional product, sure to be enjoyed and treasured by kids young and old.

An adventure of mind and spirit

What an amazing book! Delightful illustrations, perfect rhythm and rhyme, and a precious story line. This should be available for sale at all pet adoption centers. Great read for young and old alike!

If you are a dog lover (as I am), you will love the adventures these adorable pups have in this book with beautiful art by Robin. You've got pirate pups, racers, astronauts, and it's not just dogs, there's also a cat rocketeer! Adventures are fun, but what is even better? A forever home. Adopt a pet today and find a forever friend.

My grandkids love to believe their dogs live a secret life and this book fueled their imaginations, sparked lively conversation and had them begging me to read it again Grammy!

Very cute and warm rhyming book about pets and finding them a home. In the meantime, the pets are in a comfy place where they can imagine and dream until they can go to their forever home.

Very cute art and serviceable rhymes

The dreams of The dogs are a bit repetitive, but the book is short enough that they don't get irritating.

THIS WAS QUITE A LOVELY SHORT EBOOK OF DOGS AND CATS...

This was a cute and unique type of story where the author shares each dog or cat's adventures they each have in their dreams and above all to be adopted to s forever family where it can be loved and love their new family, toi. So, for these reasons I would like to recommend this for five stars and especially those ages 4-8.
I received this for free very likely and now here's my honest review sorry for being so slow at getting this done Robin!: Super job!: BY ANGELA
