I found some reminder of Gersholm Scholem lending Walter Benjmamin a sum of money from the Unversity of Jerusalem for the cost of traveling and for some lectures to give in Jerusalem, Benjamin had gambled with the money and lost.
This is a real historic case but of course we have to analyze trends in philosophy and publishing in real time in real settings of today, so this is the review of Lindner book.
