This book starts off a little gritty right from the start.Fast pace and not lacking action or storytelling. It incorporated some of Darlene Bobich's story as well.

Tosha finds herself alone in the world ravished by the zombie apocalypse when her twin sister is attacked, bitten, and put down by a neighbor. She joins forces with the neighbor, but things don’t go as planned.

Her depression makes her survival hard. She eventually ventures out and comes in contact with other living people…but they aren’t friendly.

Will she survive it all and be able to move on?

(There are a couple of short stories following other characters at the end of the book.)

I enjoyed the characterization in Dying Days: Origins, which I think is Author Armand Rosamilia’s strongest asset. However, I was disappointed with some grammar and inconsistencies in the story. For example: Tosha was outside in the cold, wearing multiple layers of clothes and then, just a short time later when she comes inside, is doing a strip tease with only one pair of jeans on.

I read this as an Audio Book. Holy Cow what an Experience. The man character Tosha Shorb has such a spit fire personality. She really makes this story a great read. It is a very intense story being held up in an apartment building when the zombie apocalypse happens. Rotting bodies and devious neighbors set the scene. People stealing and robbing and killing. The intensity of this book was amplified by the wittyness of Tosha. I think the best part of the book was Jack Wallen being the narrator. He brought so much life to this story. And I cannot praise Armand Rosamilia enough. This author has put a fresh spin on everything. Nothing is boring about his work. If this story would have been made into a movie or television series it would have blown Walking Dead out of the water. Kudos.

This was a great zombie story. Tosha was not someone you want to mess with. Doing all she can to try and stay alive, and might be going a tad crazy. She did what she had to do. And those that were trying to hurt her well it did not go well for them.
The story keep me on the edge always needed to know what was going to happen to Tosha. The other bonus story's were great as well i enjoyed them.
