I am a sucker for romance; I breath romance. Lately, I discovered that I also enjoy drama, big time drama. I guess love stories and drama go hand in hand.

As the mother of three, I am challenged every day to commit to be that mother that they need me to be. So far doing ok.

I am a new author and I am enjoying myself writing everything that crosses my mind. You could say that I am an open book.

Looking forward to making a lot of friends here. Oh! I was forgetting to include that I am a solitary soul as well... so, friends would be nice -for a change.

Esmeralda, Esmeralda, Esmeralda! Girl, was she very delusional, like mentioned in the synopsis. This was a slower read for me. It really picked up for me about halfway through, and then from there, I read through it quickly. This was written very well, and I can say that I learned a lot while reading this book.

I don't want to give it away, but I did really enjoy the last 2 chapters and was rooting for the two in the end. I will say, though, the phrase " How you get them is how you lose them" is very real! However, I get that. that's not the case in everyone's story. I would rate this book a 3.5 and recommend you give this a read.

➡️ This was written in 3rd person, which I normally don't read. (completely a me problem).
➡️ It was slow until about halfway through.

This was unfortunately not a book for me. I could just tell that I was not gonna like Esmeralda. I personally just did not vibe with the writing style, that’s not to say that it wasn’t written well, I personally just was having a hard time getting through it. This book is for somebody, I just feel like it wasn’t for me.
