Closer to a 3.5, not a bad start to a series though a little over written. Basically for fans of mens adventure its a group of John Eagles from the Expeditor series. There are seven groups of seven that all have high tech suits and a huge system of support behind them. Just so happen its ran by the American government. Also they actually have more support then Eagle ever did but the same concept in a squad based seres. I found it funny that the seven man force that is front and center in this one is actually called Eagle Force. The team has to try and stop a billionaire terrorist who has put together a terrific force and has a plan involving a dangerous bio weapon. Its time to test all of the fancy equipment in a real mission.
Recommend for fans of mens adventure. Its a first in a twelve book series, and like all first books it has to introduce everything and have a satisfying plot which is hard to do. Thunderbolt does this fairly well.
