This book is a good representation of the trial and the Johnson City area. The loyalty of some and the ruthlessness of others is amazing to watch when living in such close quarters. My husband and his family lived in the area during that time and to read about what was happening in the story and to be able to visualize the Peerless and Colonial Heights and the dealership and other landmarks brought it even closer to my personal reality. Very sad how greed can destroy friendships and the decisions made in split seconds can destroy a multitude of lives.
