This book is great- a real mind twister. It is just so hard to wrap your mind around how racist this country was and still is today. The only thing I don't particularly care for are the trial records. They are printed in the book and are very hard to read. This is such a tragic story, but very interesting.

Alright read

This book was ok to read but it didn't hold my attention like I thought it would. I had a hard time finishing it. The author could have gone into a little more detail about the facts surrounding Ruby and her family after she was arrested. It glosses over important details.
