This is a delightful story about Beckett, a rookie professional baseball player with the St. Pete Sharks. From the moment Beckett meets Harper at a club, the air crackles and sparks fly between them. I liked Beckett, he is a nice guy, though at times, he has some anger issues. He cares about Harper and treats her well, but Harper holds back, because she isn’t sure she can trust him. There is a lot of chemistry between Beckett and Harper and when they get together, things get steamy. I enjoyed this story, the characters are easy to connect with and I kept reading to find out what would happen next.
