PWALLY Mostly True Stories, Part II

Rate this book
Somehow I got a crazy idea to move to Austin, Texas in 2000. It was a very rough time for me, from not having a job to not knowing anyone I could count on, and having no money. I think some of these stories reflect the panic in my psyche.
I was unhappy within one year, mostly from the heat and the incessant and unrelenting traffic. Life became menial.
I did my art and I wrote about my experiences and some of the many people I met. I taught art at several locations.
After 63 days of over 100+ degrees in the summer of 2009, I knew I wanted to return home to New Mexico and I made every effort to get there. After selling my paintings and drawings for $20 to $50, selling my easels, my art lamps, tables and a lot of my furniture I came up with enough money to leave Austin and did so on September 1, 2009, never to return.
