The beginning part of the story is great and I like how the author wrote the ruthless crime bosses in the Tokyo's underground society. The scheme about the bank robbery, the dramas and the second-guessing games among the three robbers are good too. However, although the book isn't thick I still managed to lose patience as the story reaches its ending; and all the various plot twists have just *become too damn much*, and none of the characters seem to have much depth and development with them.
I heard this book is a hit in Japan and it also goes with a movie adaptation, but I am not as impressed by it as I'd hoped.
