Serendipity. I am taking a class in reversible quilting this weekend, and this book uses watercolor fabric techniques combined with two sided quilting techniques. Fun idea.

This isn't just a book on watercolor quilts, it's also a book on quilting as you go, something that isn't at all simple. It's odd to me that isn't part of the title.

Both the introductory and quilt specific instructions are very good, organized well with lots of illustrations. The quilts, though, aren't particularly exciting. There is only one I'm interested in doing.

But for an intermediate quilter interested in the watercolor technique, this is a good choice.
