This book is an account of what happened inside Kuwait during the Gulf War of 1990/91. It is written by a British man who remained in hiding. The book provides amazing details regarding everything that happened inside Kuwait, places, names, etc. If anything, that is its weakness as it sometimes gets bogged down in the fine details. But if you are looking for something that gives a firsthand account of what life was like while Iraqi forces destroyed Kuwait, this is the book for you.
