The Choose Your Own Adventure genre of books can be both a gift and a curse at time to read depending on the story being told. "Star System Tenopia" by Richard Brightfield is a book that almost takes that concept a bit too far. The book itself honestly means well, but when stories overlap the book becomes a bit tedious for anyone to follow and would frustrate young adults trying to read it let alone any adults. Originally published in 1986 as the 4th book of a series this is one that I wouldn't recommend for anyone who doesn't have a long attention span or who gets bored easily with reading.

This book series inspired my own ideas. Like the earlier books, it lacks some good images and you can easily find yourself in a loop.
