Zimbabwe’s dictator exploits critical faults in the decaying infrastructure of his own country. Evil reigns unchecked and greed has no limit. But the blood-soaked grass, empty shelves, and unmarked graves birth a new era of African resistance. When political extortion forces white African, Stuart Hall, from his land, he embraces a patriotism that knows no color. What will he do when forced to choose between his family and his country?
This was a great political thriller (i think that is the category it would fall under). I can't wait to read the next one. The characters were well developed, the story was fast paced, and I enjoyed the well researched African setting by an author who grew up there!
Intrigue. Corruption. Faith. Danger. A fast-paced read with a strong sense of place, that makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. But don't read this unless you plan on reading the next one too...
