This touching tale portrays the inner turmoil of a youth in a rigid family setting, Although he does not affirm his mother verbally, the boy appreciates her selfless devotion. He also recognizes the subtle kindness of his grandfather and the unpredictability of his father.

I found myself swept up in the sensory imagery of this story from the beginning and highly recommend it to readers.

This story had me feeling as if I was right at home with Akhil and his family members watching all of the interactions as they were taking place.

You could feel the love Akhil has for his mother which was very touching and wanted nothing but the best ending for them both.
