First year lacrosse prodigy Nathan Whitwood just wants to play the game he was hand selected for at Rippton U. With family and money behind him, there's nothing to stop his progress into an early draft...until he meets Raleigh Eady.
A chaotic force in her own right, health sciences major Raleigh can barely find her backside with both hands on the best of days. A scholarship means she has to keep her grades up or risk losing the chance at a college level education and a career.
When her roommate drags her to a game day afterparty she doesn't want to attend, Raleigh and Nate collide in a flurry of sparks and passion that threatens to derail both their futures. But when their respective families learn they're dating, Raleigh finds wealth is poison.
Threatened with disinheritance, she's about to find out if Nate can cast off the rich boy mantle...or if he's the same spoiled kid she assumed he was when they first crashed into each other, enough to ruin the tenuous future they crave together.

Raleigh, a not-so-wealthy college student, is one of a few scholarship students on Rippton University’s campus for the ultra-wealthy. She spends her time in her dorm with her best friends, sunbathing and going to classes. That is, until, she’s noticed by RU’s new pretty boy lacrosse player, Nate. When she’s asked to a party by him, everything changes.
Nate is good at lacrosse, like, really good. The other guys celebrate wins by sleeping with every moving big body and drinking themselves blind. Nate isn’t about that life. He’s about the girl in the stands, Raleigh. He knows she’s on scholarship and his extremely wealthy family won’t approve. He doesn’t care.
Will their differences be too much to even give them a chance? Will an issue involving one of Raleigh’s friends threaten to derail everything?
This was such a great read! While I’m no stranger to college sports romances, this was my first lacrosse romance and I loved it! Nate and Raleigh are written really well! I love their dynamic and banter! Both of them are super relatable and act just like college students.
Thank you, Sofia Aves, for an ARC of this book! My review is mine and freely given!
I must admit that college romance is not my usual genre but this one was a short, fast paced, enjoyable read.
Nate Whitwood didn't want to be at Rippton, he wanted to go to Yale, but his wealthy, controlling father wouldn't hear of it, all the Whitwoods had gone to Rippton and that's where Nate would go. Nate had been the star of his junior lacrosse team but now he was playing with the big boys...........or was he ? Rippton lacrosse team hadn't won a game, coach Crocket was worse than useless, even so, all the school turned out to cheer them on, they were hero worshiped. Raleigh Eady was a scholarship girl, she shared a room with her best friend Silvie Quick, Silvie was also born on the wrong side of the track. Raleigh was content to put her head down and study, the frat parties were completely out of her league, that is until she caught the eye of new, up and coming lacrosse player, Nate Whitwood. Nate knew that dallying with beautiful, curvy Raleigh could have disastrous consequences for him, his father sent him to Rippton to network and meet a wealthy girl who could add kudos to their family definitely not a scholarship girl with nothing to offer. Could Nate defy his father ? could he risk everything for love ? Lovely likeable characters, I now look forward to reading Silvie and Beau's story. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.
College Romance. Cinnamon Roll MMC. Curvy FMC. He Falls First Nate is the lacross-playing Golden boy. The wealthy freshman who is setup to take over as team captain next year. Raleigh is a sophomore scholarship student who prefers to be invisible. When their families get involved, can the pair make it work? I enjoyed this twist on a college sports romance story. It is nice that Nate is not your standard man whore. Nate is more of a cinnamon roll male lead who falls first for the female lead character. Another element that I found appealing in this story is that Raleigh is a curvy woman. While she is not the woman his father would choose, Raleigh is exactly who Nate wants. I love the way that Sofia Aves writes. Her characters always show great character development. The stories are never dull. This one does not disappoint.
Nate is a freshman lacrosse sensation and Raleigh is his weakness. He is a legacy at the school with more money than any person knows what to do with. She is a scholarship student that is not model perfect. She gains his attention at the first game and he can’t get her out of his system. He goes to a lot of lengths to find her and then keep her. It is amazing how she stands up to his dad and tells him off. Her sass is so good, her friendship with Silvie is also more of a sisterhood. There were some surprises in this book and I look forward to where the series goes from here. The captain of the team, Beau, seems unredeemable and ruthless. I think he is next and I look forward to seeing if it picks up right where this left off.

Where to start. I loved Nate. I loved Raleigh. I got serious One Tree Hill Nayley vibes and I was soooo down for that! So Nate is a golden boy up and coming Lacross athlete from a beyond wealthy background. Raleigh is a scholarship feisty, intelligent, curvy girl from a less privileged home. There eyes meet across the field at Nates first game for Rippton U and its practically lust/love at first sight. The entire book is across quite a short time scale and is very fast paced so you don't get chance to get bored. I've spent an entire day finding slots of time to come back and devour this book it was so bloody addictive! The chemistry draws you in and is seriously cute (and plenty spicy) Can't wait for the next in the series to see what happens with B&S 💕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶🌶

Nate us the freshman lacrosse player for Rippton U, he and the team captain as well as the team goalie coordinate together and it seems things could go well for the team this year. Raleigh is a curvy junior who doesn't mess around with frat boys until Nate tries to win her over inviting her to a party. Raleigh, and Silvie go and are quite shocked but stay. The next day finds the girls having a pity party. and a thief and a liar in their mists. Entertaining, danger, violence. Iead a copy without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.
This book had lacrosse, wealth, scholarship student, and a mystery if who stole the money from the frat. This takes you through Nate falling for the girl that saved him from a “falcon” during his lacrosse game. Nate goes after Raleigh since she is the first girl he has ever picked out for him self. Loved the chemistry between Nate and Riley. Loved the fully developed plot. Had some interesting side characters. The spice is a bout a 🌶️. But really thoroughly enjoyed it!.

Really enjoyed this quick, steamy read and liked that it had a good thought out storyline. Riley and Nate are two complete opposites that have amazing chemistry. She is the girl that attends the university on a scholarship and he is the rich, lacrosse player. But when these two meet, there is an instant connection.
But Nate gets pressure from his family about his relationship with Riley. Will they be able to get through all the drama to find a future.

What I've enjoyed the most about this story was the way the relationship between Nate and Raleigh was built, with exchange of not so good words, and help (push) from her best friend and some other people. Other interactions are interesting too, like Nate with his team, and Raleigh with Silvie. There are funny, as well as sad moments, with a surprise.

Nate, a new student at Rippton U, has joined the Lacrosse team, which has yet to win a game. During his first game, he miraculously catches a ball that was headed towards him after getting hit by one earlier. As he looks up, he sees something blue and lurid pink in the stands. This is how he meets Raleigh. This story is full of romance and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

I really enjoyed reading this book. From the moment that I started reading this I was hooked. It moves along really nicely making for an easy read. You cant get enough of these characters and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. This book is a must read that has to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.
I received a free copy of this book to read & review and am voluntarily leaving this review. I enjoyed this book even though it isn't in the same as her military or other previous books. The characters are interesting but it took me a little while to get invested in their lives. I still thoroughly enjoyed this book and want to read more in this series.
Off Boarding brings about the challenges of athletes forming lasting relationships. Nate Whitwood enjoys Lacrosse with all his heart. He sees Raleigh in the stands and makes it mission to find her. Their story is heartfelt and surprising.

I picked up this one because I love a good sports romance and that is exactly what this story was. Nate was a good hero, he didn't come off as cocky. I enjoyed this first book in the Playing for Keeps and will read others.

College aged characters that act like college kids lol. But it was a fun read of all the drama that was going on outside the two main characters. Can’t wait for more.

I enjoyed this quick steamy read with its mix of sport and rich kid story. It made me laugh and groan as get to really see how Nate really feels for Raleigh. Full of steam, hilarious scenes and crazy team mates and friends. Really get a hint and feel for the school.
This book was great from beginning to end. Raleigh and Nate. I really thought I had the ending. I thought it was going to be a typical boy breaks girls heart story. I’m so glad I was wrong. The plot twist that happened was entertaining.
Its starts a little slow bug it comes back with a cliff hanging ending. What happens next Sofia Aves? I guess we have to wait for Beau' s story. Please read and review your books.
