A terrific collection of 1990s articles from TRUE DETECTIVE and similar magazines, all involving female culprits (with plenty of male co-conspirators sprinkled throughout). Writers include Don Lasseter and Bill G. Cox. Several cases were subsequently given full-length book treatment:
OPEN SECRETS by Carlton Stowers
OVERKILL by Lyn Riddle
SINS OF THE MOTHER by Maria Eftimiades
TO HATRED TURNED by Ken Englade

Very very graphic pictures. This book is not for the squeamish. It was not until the last few years that we hear so much about women who murder, dismember, burn and just cause mayhem. We tend to think of deviant crimes as man committed. This book changes that stereotype and makes you cringe. People tend to trust a woman stranger than a man stranger so just remember you really don't know who you are talking to.

I think listing bullet points for my review is easiest,
*Likes*
-I love the smaller chapters
-I love that the book has photos of people, it's nice to put a face to the names & story.

*Dislikes*
-I don't like that they changed the name of people murderers to protect their privacy but I'm sorry but you dont deserve privacy. I tried looking a few up to see if they we still incareated etc and noticed names were changed.
-A few typing errors and missing words
