...Before They Were Left Behind, There Was The Son of Man... Nearly thirty years after The Heylik, Joshua, the Clone of Christ, is approaching his thirty third birthday...
This series, including SOn of Man 4, has been an interesting take on end of days and the anti-christ. THe story is inmtriguing and plot twisting throughout. The only area of discomfort I had was the feeling there should have been another book between Books 3 and 4. I can kinda understand why, considering the real Messian's life from the age of 12 to 30 was unknown. However, it still felt strange until I finished Book 4. I suspect the story isn't finished yet and there may be BOok 5, or maybe 6 int he future.
After finishing the first book of the series I wanted to know where he would lead this story, how he would explain the apocalypse. I skipped the 2nd and 3rd because reading wasn't like living the story, it was like looking from the outside and judging - how does he interpret prophecy? Where is the christian view? How will the Anti-Christ rise to power? How will he describe the 2nd coming? It's reading out of curiosity more than enjoying the book. To my disappointment this isn't the last book. There will be a 5th one (the last?) I really don't know if I will be curious enough to buy it.
