When Dewayne Coulton wanted a bride, he contacted an agency specializing in matching men with willing brides. Rose Carmichael was to arrive on the noon train. Would she come or had she changed her mind?

Rose Harwood was fresh out of teacher’s training. Taking her Aunt Rose’s place, she arrived in the town of Caldwell Junction. She was to meet a rancher, who wanted a school opened on his ranch.

That fateful day, two women by the name of Rose were to arrive on the westbound train; only one did. Later, Coulton realized his mistake. His young bride was not the Rose; he had paid to become his wife. Perhaps, it would be better to say nothing, since they were happily married.

Love this book!

The plot was energetic and believable. The characters were believable and true to form. One of the best books I have read and I have read this book several times.
