This book with its simplistic colorful drawings is for very young children that are just beginning to interact with other children. The focus is on friendship, but it also shows how practice will improve performance and that that is more friendship that showing off.

I was randomly chosen through a Goodreads Giveaway to receive this book free from the publisher. Although encouraged, I was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

One of the life lessons preschool children learn in groups of young children is about making friends. Tyler Learns to Do Tricks! is an excellent story about friendship presented in a positive manner to show children leaning about friendship what makes a good friend. The illustrations are wonderful and age appropriate and appealing to young children. I enjoy asking the children if they can tell if Tyler and the dolphin are happy or sad and bring in a lesson opposites and emotions using the story.

I want to thank Goodreads First Reads and Treasuree Cash, author for the copy of Tyler Learns to Do Tricks! that I won in the Giveaway.
