This book, in generally short, punchy chapters, raises consciousness of the basic importance of food and hunger in a Christian gospel deserving of the name. Despite my theological qualms (liberation theology so often seems to require a supernaturalist metaphysics and studied naivete regarding the fictionality of the gospels), I would recommend this book for its highly accessible encapsulation of a church ethics.
