B = mc2: Business Strategy for a Multidimensional World

Rate this book
As the DotCom bubble was bursting, a silent revolution started. A revolution that is still hard to fathom, that most people would dismiss in the midst of a world in crisis. Our way of life and our landscape is about to change perhaps as much as it has changed over the last hundred years. Even the way we communicate and interact will evolve to a point and at a speed that no one could imagine today. This revolution, which surfaced on Bastille Day 2008, is the most open and far reaching the world has ever seen, touching nearly every human being, reaching across all continents to the most remote villages. This revolution is not about technology, even though technology is at its foundation. This revolution is about weaving meaningful relationships between people, and with their environment. B = mc2 (Business = Mobile Connected Computing) is a tale of this new world and a set of tools (BOLT) focused on developing the collective intelligence of your organization to help you conquer it. BOLT is a breakthrough path to outperformance that’s simple, fast and precise, so you can act with unmistakable strategic clarity. BOLT is a powerful antidote to matrix maps, dashboards and questionnaires that are failing even the best strategic thinkers. It brings a new language and visual tools to help you envision, perceive and appreciate the customer journey through an entire ecosystem. BOLT is easy to learn and scales from the youngest startup to the largest corporation. Finally got around to finishing this book - some interesting concepts and insights into planning and organizing your business around the new world "cloud and platform" along with information about the BOLT process, which surprisingly didn't feature in the book much until the end.
