Thirty years of full color images of Star Island, of the Isles of Shoals, off the coast of NH/ME. Parsons photographed the island, the historic hotel and buildings, the sea, and provides a visual essay of a place that has drawn visitors for nearly four centuries. A thriving bird population, and neighboring islands, where poet Celia Thaxter was raised, are also featured.
