Sam Brown, pseudonym of Adam Culbert, is an American illustrator and author most noted for his website, explodingdog. The gimmick of the site is that he draws pictures based on titles that visitors to the site send him via email or Twitter.

Someone writes a title, and Sam Brown draws a picture for it. More often than not it's a silly spin on what you'd expect or some zany nonsense loosely related. There's teh evil red robot, the voracious space bugs, and the naive and always subdued whiteface people who populate his world. It's fun, it's well drawn despite looking like MS Paint, and I'd recommend it to any fans of the web series.
