Scrum, The Complete Overview and Guide (Boxset), For the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development Team

Rate this book
Scrum is a simple framework that allows us to complete projects, continuously improve and get an early return on investment. AUTHOR NOTE "I write this text as a certified scrum master with experience in international blue chip companies dating back to 1999. That experience includes leading projects for the BBC, General Electric, Oracle, BSkyB, HiT Entertainment (responsible for Angelina Ballerina, Bob the builder and other titles that you love watching with your kids or siblings but won’t admit to) and Razorfish. These roles have all involved leadership on a wealth of mobile, internet TV and web software projects. I have played the role of scrum master and in the earlier years, of team lead and technical lead. I have had the privilege of running projects and rolling out working practices in market leading organisations from start to finish." This book is an amalgamation of the following books sold as a cost effective box set (so be sure not to buy them again): 1. The Power of Scrum, In the Real World, For the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development Team 2. 72 Reasons Why Scrum Works, For the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development Team 4. The Scrum Checklist, For the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development Team 3. Scrum of Scrums, Agile Programme Management, For the Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Stakeholder and Development Team

There are few people who can take a subject that is a bit dry and present it with excitement. The author really does a great job about presenting the material and asking questions that anyone may face on the job. After reading this book I felt like I could follow the advice in the book and begin implementing SCRUM practices and that is a credit to the author.

The book could easily serve as a guide to the SCRUM test but for me it will be a manual that I look back to while working with SCRUM. This book is a great reference to have in my digital library. I recommend this book as a good read.
