Nice read introducing lots of interesting concepts. The book is still a work in progress though. I'd have liked to have a parallel made with less biological artificial neural network model.

Excellent introduction, highly recommended

For this price an excellent introduction to the subject, even if other authors don't agree with the approach you gain very good basic understanding on the matter
