Rev. Kenneth Erwin Hagin, known as the “father of the modern faith movement,” served in Christian ministry for nearly 70 years.
In 1968, Rev. Hagin published the first issues of The Word of Faith magazine, which now has a monthly circulation of more than 300,000. “Obedience is the key to receiving from God and it is also the key to being used by God. If we can learn to hear God's voice and to obey Him in the area of our personal finances, it will open the door to further blessings in our own lives and will pave the way for Him to use us in greater ways to bless mankind.”
I think I'll rate anything "Bro Hagin" 5 stars. Goes without saying for me.
But in all honesty I've reached some sort of stage in life where I actually laugh out loud going through his books. Perhaps I've lived out more of the Faith life that I can really relate to the stores Bro Hagin tells. :)
Everything we do including Giving financially is like planting a seed if you did not plant a seed you cannot harvest. So if you desire an abundant harvest you must plant abundant seeds. When we are faithful in the small things, God can trust us with Miracles.
Obedience in one area leads to obedience in another
Thank God for brother Hagin and did the work he's done and chronicled in so many books. As we learn to be obedient we're giving God the space to trust us and building up our own track record to relate to when God really needs us.
I have always enjoyed reading from authors that know how to get to the point. The Hagin’s are two of my favorite to read and comprehend the fundamentals of God’s Word to us all. Cheers, Danni
I feel there is a lot that can be said about tithing. This was a good intro to start learning about the necessity of tithing in one's finances. If God can't trust you in this simple ask, how can He trust you in anything else?
He truly has written so many good books! When you read his books you won't be disappointed. I myself have purchased his books and given them away as gifts!
Loved it. Tithes still are Gods way to bless us by obedience. We Ned a year to hear God to obey him. Right now his people are listening to too many other voices but Dr. Haggin life was proof that he heard God and obeyed. This book though small is powerful.
I choose this rating because it deserves it. This generation has either not been taught about Jesus or have forgotten about obeying his words. The reap you have to show a seed.
A very quick read. Powerful testimonies but although I am a tither I am not sure that that widow with five children should have paid tithe. May God forgive me if I am wrong but a few weeks ago I researched on tithes and as far as the scriptures states, the tithe was for the widows, poor and needy etc. but we do not see that happening do we?
God doesn't want His children to focus on only money for oneself but He desires His children to be prosperous in all aspects of lives, joy, peace, love, relationships, health, and wealth. Through this blessing,He desires His children to advance His kingdom and bring blessing to others. I think this book doesn't address this point.
Great book, rich stories, worth meditating upon, growing in our walk with God requires wAlking in obedience, the Spirit of Obedience is what will keep Us in his presence.
This small booklet is more about obedience to God than about financial management. Obedience to God is the key of receiving from God and being used by God. I'm really inspired by the childlike faith of Pastor Hagin, and hope to grow in childlike faith and obedience as well.
A quick read about obedience to God and hearing his voice. We need to sew seeds in order to reap a harvest! Scriptural truths with some inspirational stories to lift your spirit.
This was a very good handbook from K.E Hagin. Because the book was very short and the heavy emphasis on tithing(and I'm not against tithing), I removed one star.
