This book introduced the central theory of my master thesis.Even though the book was written during the age of industrial import-substituation it is still relevant for today's time. Urban bias, the central theme of the book, is still present in many developing countries and acriculture is paying the price. The food shortage can to some extent followed back to some politics described in this book.
