The Last Ark Apocalyptic Series -- Part IV

The Final Pope Defies the Socialist Takeover of the Vatican

""For fans of the apocalyptic genre, this won't disappoint. I feel odd describing that as a genre since I don't want people to think this is simply a redux of the Left Behind series, but there you have it. The storyline is (unfortunately) believeable, or at least very relevant to our times. The political intrigue described at the Vatican is right on the mark - and I say this as a Traditional Roman Catholic, not just as someone who wants to find fault with the goings on at the Vatican. I hope the apocalyptic elements aren't something we end up seeing in our lifetimes, but it certainly makes you wonder. I picked it up as a single novel, so by all means go for the omnibus edition. I'm looking forward to the next installment.""Barnes and Noble Review

The Last Pope defends the Traditions of the Catholic Faith during a Global EMP War. When the Vatican is systematically taken over and destroyed from within by the ruling socialist elites, and the signs of the end are all about, the promised Fatima Apocalypse begins. The Last Ark carries the tiny Remnant of the Faithful far beyond the reaches of the gates of hell... and deep into Mary's Realm.

"Also available in the complete set - Parts I, II, III, IV in The Last Ark: First Omnibus Edition"

Armand Assante, Actor -- "An intriguing end-time scenario... The entire Series reads like a non-fiction account of the way it could all go down... Chilling."

Jim D., Renew America --"I just finished reading The Last Ark Series. Man what a read! This book did not get thrown in the trash because it never left my hand as I read it from my Ipad. My wife still has not caught up on her sleep from me staying up late reading and keeping her awake. Ok so here is the big question.............. when is Part V coming out? I have got to have it."

Harrold James, Barnes and Noble Review -- "A chilling expose on the activity of the cultural elites. Must read!"

I was born in New York City in 1986. I reside in Los Angeles. About five years ago I built a cabin out in the Southern California desert on an abandoned 1800's gold mining claim, where I do some of my writing when I'm not behind the camera on many major Hollywood sets.

I'm a member of SAG/AFTRA and got the bug for writing while working on a few screenplays when I was nineteen, one of which was later turned into a TV Pilot.

I collaborate with my dad, who holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Theology, a major theme I like weaving into all of my writing. My spiritual advisor, Father X, also keeps my writing on solid theological footing.

I'm presently hard at work on my new summer releases: the Jonny Gold action adventure series, Dovetailed and PART TWO of The Last Ark of Petrus Romanus.

Enjoy the read,
Jack

See review for Part I. I bought this as an omnibus edition, with all four parts in one volume. As I said, I was very disappointed to find constant errors in grammar and vocabulary that distracted me from the story. The story, however, was very interesting, a Roman Catholic take on the end times. The plot is based around a takeover of the world by the forces of evil working through power-hungry men. The Fatima message that has been kept secret and is known only to the Pope gives the prophecy, forewarning the Pope, who puts in place a new Ark that will save the faithful in the coming destruction. Two heroic popes, a cast of reasonably well-developed characters both faithful and lost, with Mary in command, will be satisfying to Catholic believers (and perhaps disconcerting to non-Catholics). My biggest problem with the theology was the anti-Protestant bias that at one point, at least, descended into a rant based on revisionist history. Even Muslims came off better than Protestants. However, these references were rare and the rest of the story thought-provoking and entertaining at once.
