I really liked the parts of this book that dealt with what the title talked about: ghost stories, Indian legends, etc. But the last two sections seemed out of place.

I have liked Brad Steiger and his writing for many years now, both in the books he did alone and with his wife Sherry, who is a good writer and researcher in her own right.Brad Striker was a serious researcher who took his work seriously and produced a fine body of work in his 50 year career.Although,he wrote about different subjects ,he write the most about and is by far well known for his books about different aspects of the supernatural. He was a little different than some writers I. This field as I would call him a true believer, not in the sense he believed everything he was ever told or wrote about
But a true believer all the same.I disagree with a lot of his beliefs and the conclusions he ended up coming to but will always admire his work and all the time and research he put into it over the years.I am very sad to learn as I did recently that both Brad and how wife Sherry passed away a couple of years apart in the last few years.Just from the info about themselves and their experiences with they wrote about in their various books, its easy to tell they were very kind and sincere people. They certainly are missed.

As for this book as well as most of the Steigers books, some things I feel are true ,others I do not agree with exist or are what they appear to be.Interesting book though.
